Zecke : Action!

This model i designed actually finished since 3 weeks ago, and just now i can upload it to my blog because the hard thing dividing time for work and time for hobbies :D.

The character's name is Zecke, zecke means tick in Germany (if i'm not wrong, please correct me), i really don't have a good name for it.. :D , this model actually was a challenging from my papercraft (papertoy designer) mate, Antho (ruangantho.blogspot.com) to create a papermonster, but what i got is far away from it :D. I could say, its a paper creature..

Russel is the drummer of gorillaz . Big, fat and brown, like me. But I'm not that big anyway :D. I continued to modeling the gorillaz because on of my friend reminded me to continue it. He likes this band much, papercraft too. Actually i have no mood handling this papertoy after so long, but the promise should be kept and I should continue to complete the gorillaz band.

Sorry guys for a month i never give any result of my papercraft models. Because many important things should I care, so it delayed. Please understand this situation. I need a real job. :D, wish me luck..Btw, Please don't be confused if you see my logo change often, because i'm still finding a perfect match to make a great and simple logo as a trade mark of bamboogila.

Actually, this model has been completed a months ago, now this month I can uploaded it. Ghost is a favorite character of all the people who ever played call of duty modern warfare 2. Including me of course. His scull balaclava makes me want to buy it (in Indonesia i can easily found it on motorcycle needs and wear) and wear it and using with my Vespa hitting the streets..seems cool hee.. :D

Bemo stands for "Becak bermotor" means "motor tricycles" and is a three-wheeled motor vehicle which is usually used as public transportation in Indonesia. Bemo began to be used in Indonesia in early 1962, first in Jakarta in connection with Ganefo.

This model was design for participating an urban Indonesian papertoy event that held by PERI (paper replica of Indonesia). Unfortunately, my model didn't not won it. But it's ok, this is not a competition to find the best, look for the winner, but is a creative spirit of the nation's children in participating the event.

This papertoy model remains me to an old day of my school time. This was my first gaming online i ever played since that in 2002. Gunbound online. But since 2003, cheaters came by and starting to use cheat engine to win every battle. And around 2005, never heard again this game online.

But now @ 2010, Gunbound season 2 just opened, but too bad, not much gamers want it to play this game anymore. :D

Tintin Rocket Papercraft

Tintin rocket is my first model in 3DMax and a non-scale model. I made it for almost 2 weeks, giving me headache in using max, which is a bit difficult for me that i usually use skecthup. Thanks to Julius Perdana Paper-Replika.com in giving me short term lessons and tutorial in the use of max.

This model (in this pictures i uploaded) was build in A5 by my friend Mr.Adhiwardhana Widjajanto, a A5/A6 specialist builder. The original size about more than 30cm.

This papertoy figure is one of many great designer that inspired me on designed papermodel. He is Julius Perdana a.k.a Julescrafter from paper-replika.com.

Some of our friends called him "master" and some also called him " The Unpredictable" :D.. well, i choose the second one. This papertoy i dedicated for him in giving me some good advice and little lecture in designing. Looks funny and cute right? he always wears the scout trooper helmet where ever we have a community gathering or event. :D... cool!

Minyak Tanah in English means Kerosene Stove, it's a cheap stove. The kerosene stove is cheaper to operate than a gas range, but the heat is not under such perfect control, and the stove requires more work to keep it clean.

In Indonesian, this stove still exist. But now days many people using gas stove rather than kerosene stove, because the rarity of the kerosene to find and also expensive.

Finally, i have done this PeRI t-shirt design papercraft. It takes me about 3 days to test-build and find some errors on the design.

Special thanks for Asiong Lim for his time and dedicate to test-build my model. So neat and clean. This is my second papercraft i design, and my first papercraft i published. The PeRI's Official t-shirt was the first t-shirt that members of PeRI used for every events. The second one was the black one.

I think is a bit difficult for newbies (and i mean really for the first time in papercraft) to build this model. If you still want it, you can download it.

This model was build by Asiong Lim.

Youth Choir in Concert Poster

I designed this poster 5 months ago for an Adventist Youth Choir, held on 5th February 2009. I had a really hard time to find some nice inspiration to designed it. The concept is about going green.

So finally i had it done and i feel satisfied though is not really good design. Praise the Lord..

The Challenger 2 Papermodel

This is my second model tank i build of julescrafter.com military model, The Challenger 2. I made it just for 2 weeks. So fun and easy to build.

I got these patterns from Mr. Ardia, he got it from Angakasa Magazine. Printed on art paper 170 gsm (i think so), thick and slippery to use white base glue and only publish once by Angkasa Magazine with a permission of Julius Perdana.

FV4034 Challenger 2 is a British main battle tank (MBT) currently in service with the armies of the United Kingdom and Oman. It was designed and built by the British company Vickers Defence Systems (now known as BAE Systems Land and Armaments). The manufacturer advertises it as the world's most reliable main battle tank. As of January 2008, two Challenger 2s have been damaged in combat, and one destroyed by another Challenger 2 in a friendly fire incident.

Challenger 2 is an extensive redesign from Challenger 1, the MBT from which it was developed. It uses the basic hull and automotive parts of its predecessor but all else is new. Fewer than 5% of components are interchangeable. Challenger 2 has now replaced Challenger 1 in service with the British Army and is also used by the Royal Army of Oman. It has seen operational service in Bosnia, Kosovo and Iraq (2003–present). During the 2003 invasion of Iraq the Challenger 2 tanks operating in the Gulf suffered no total losses to enemy fire. In one engagement a Challenger survived 14 hits from rocket propelled grenades and from one MILAN anti tank missile.

The FV101 Scorpion

This is my first model that i build it since 3 years ago. And i had a hard time on cutting the tiny parts on concord paper 200 gsm. Damn! I got this model from julescrafter.com. You can download it for free here.

The FV101 Scorpion is a British armoured reconnaissance vehicle. It was the lead vehicle and the fire support type in the Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance (Tracked), CVR(T), family of seven armoured vehicles. Manufactured by Alvis it was introduced into service with the British Army in 1973 and served until 1994. More than 3,000 were produced and used as an reconnaissance vehicle or a light tank. Indonesia had a chance to buy these tanks to renew the army arsenal.
